The Great Comission
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
MATTHEW 28:19-20

M25 BAG MINISTRY equips members to help those in need and to share the love of Jesus. Bags contains a New Testament Bible, a Gospel tract, information about FBCQ. We encourage members to be creative in what they add to bags: bottles of water, nonperishable snacks such as crackers or granola bars, wet wipes, or even gift cards. Bags are located in the hallway at the sanctuary exits. And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you,
as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ MATTHEW 25:4 |
THE BOAZ MINISTRY is our benevolence fund that allows members to directly alleviate financial hardships in our community. Every recipient hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is invited to turn to Him, and is given information about our church. Stipulations and guidelines determine what the church provides and who may receive that help. Contributions to this ministry are given anonymously through the collection cans at each sanctuary exit. |
NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS
THE MARTIN'S Pastor Gabe, Misty, Ross and Lily were led by God to join a team to plant the ninth church in the Praetorian Project, which specifically plants churches near military installations. Gabe served in the U.S. Navy for 11 years. During this time, the Lord gave him an overwhelming burden to reach others for Jesus and to help them learn to walk as His disciples. After serving in the military, he attended seminary and then served as our pastor at FBCQ 2016-2020. God uniquely prepared Gabe and Misty to reach military members and to lead them in the joy and hope of Jesus that has been so vital to their family, both in and out of military life. |
Pillar San Diego church vision is simple—to know Jesus and make Him known—yet our scope is great, like our God! We desire to plant a church that multiplies by planting other churches throughout San Diego, the nation and even the world.
PLEASE PRAY for their family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. Pray for the Lord to provide the support needed to fulfill this ministry.

UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUP The Bible tells us that Jesus purchased for God people from “every tribe and language and people and nation.” Jesus also told the church to go make disciples of all nations. While the church has seen great progress in reaching the nations with the Gospel, there are still many languages, cultures, and people groups who have not had the Gospel preached among them. These are referred to as unreached people groups (UPG). In an effort to obey the Great Commission, FBCQ has adopted a UPG. We support the work to reach our UPG through prayer, giving, and going. |
